I launched The Peer Success Group late in 2005. (Back then it was called The Entrepreneur Success Group.) It was a group of solo entrepreneurs who met locally in southwest Florida - and what a terrific group it was! Everyone in the group produced results in his or her business: one solopreneur is no longer solo. Opening a store was a goal she set for herself as a participant in the group, and she did it! Another participant launched a new (and very successful) branch of her business, an idea that was born during her participation in our group. And yet another member increased her confidence when it came to quoting fees to her clients - and as a result, had a banner year.
The 100% virtual Peer Success Group was formed due to popular demand. When clients and colleagues in different parts of the country heard about the groups I was leading, they asked "why not a virtual group?" Having had experience leading virtual mastermind groups, I knew it could work. Here's my philosophy: the difference between the success you have and the success you want often hinges on execution. That's right. When it really comes down to it, you likely already know what to do, but…do you do it?
Yes, you will benefit from the input and experience of other members of the group.
Yes, your peer group will have their sleeves rolled up beside you.
Yes, your new support network will provide advice and insight.
Yes, we are about co-creating a powerful energy of new ideas and higher possibilities.
But…the bottom line is you must take action. If left to your own devices, will you do what needs to be done to produce results? In my experience the answer is - unfortunately - no, not all the time. (Don't you agree?)
That’s why the foundation of The Peer Success Group is a system in which you will create a solid plan, are held accountable to work your plan, you measure and track your results – and report to your peers.
So that's the story... and the opportunity.
